USPTO to partner with National Inventors Hall of Fame and Ad Council to promote innovation in youthsApril 6, 2007 Today the USPTO scheduled a press conference for Tuesday, April 10, to discuss details of a new public service advertising campaign to "engage a new generation of children to make innovation, invention and technological development an integral part of their lives." The USPTO will be partnering with the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation, operators of Camp Invention®, Club Invention®, and the Collegiate Inventors Competition®, and the Ad Council, long standing creator of public service advertising. It will be interesting to see what type of advertisements the partnership will devise, and what the target demographic will be. Regardless, it is good to see the USPTO taking steps to encourage innovation in the youth of United States. Update: the public service announcements are available on the new website, www.inventnow.org. ← Return to Filewrapper
