Jill N. Link Elected to the BioConnect Iowa Board of DirectorsApril 1, 2021

BioConnect Iowa, an organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Iowa’s bioscience sector, has elected Jill N. Link, Partner, Patent Attorney and Chair of the Licensing Practice Group at MVS, to its Board of Directors.

Jill is a patent attorney with nearly 15 years’ experience in counseling clients to protect and monetize intellectual property (IP). She is Chair of the Firm’s Licensing Practice Group and has extensive experience in complex licensing, collaborations and other transfers and sales of IP assets. She approaches her clients’ requests with their end business goals in mind to connect IP strategy to market needs, monetization, or other exit strategies. As a client relationship manager for a Fortune 500 company, she is experienced with leading teams of attorneys, researchers, and business units to collaborate on IP assets.

Jill has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of U.S. patents (and overseen foreign counterparts) in the field of water treatment, sanitizing and disinfection, food technologies, and energy-related innovations. She has aided clients to develop strategies to market for a myriad of chemical products for food service, food processing, healthcare, industrial processing, and oil and gas markets. In addition to her law degree, Jill has a technical background in chemistry with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Drake University.
