MVS is thrilled to announce that Heidi S. Heidi received the award during the Iowa Biotech Showcase and Conference.

This award is given by the Iowa Biotechnology Association to individuals that have demonstrated the following traits and commitment to advancing Iowa’s biotech industry:

  • Leadership – The individual has a leading role in their organization and within the industry.
  • Innovation – The individual has consistently demonstrated an ability to bring innovative biotechnology products and/or services to the marketplace.
  • Advocacy – The individual works effectively with other business and public policy leaders to promote and advance the biotech industry in Iowa.

“I am honored to be receiving this award from the Iowa Biotechnology Association,” stated Heidi. “I have been a strong advocate for bringing a spotlight on the agricultural biotechnology industry here in Iowa through my work with clients, organizations and the government.  Recent case law and administrative policies regarding patent eligible subject matter and march in rights make this a critical time for biotechnology.”
